1. Sims Park and the Cotee Riverfront
Sims Park sits in the heart of downtown beside the Pithlachascotee River, also called the Cotee. Its riverside paths and open-air setting make it a lovely spot for an evening stroll before the countdown. The park is close to downtown's historic buildings, shops and restaurants. An organized fireworks display has not been confirmed for New Year's Eve 2026-2027, so treat the park as a scenic place to enjoy the riverfront rather than a promised fireworks viewpoint.
